In September DDC Dolphin will be attending the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society national conference at the incredible Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada.
With more than six million cubic feet of water cresting every minute, the Falls creates a powerful backdrop to one of Canada’s biggest healthcare events.
CHES represents hundreds of healthcare associations across Canada, helping their members to better manage the clinical environment to deliver best outcomes and prevent the spread of infectious disease.
They also promote collaboration across professions, creating more efficient management of operations, maintenance, and safety of hospitals. This also extends to engineering systems, equipment, buildings, and allied support services.
This approach naturally fosters leadership and better working practices, making facilities more successful in achieving their objectives.
The national conference, held over the 18th and 19th September, is an opportunity for its members to come together, learn from keynote speakers like acclaimed physician, Dr Danielle Martin, and share their experiences and practices of healthcare and infection control.
Other sessions will cover patient first planning, patient centred safety and preventing hospital-acquired infections through evidence based design.
With so much of the event covering our core mission of breaking the chain of infection in clinical and care facilities, we’re excited to be included in this prestigious event.
We will also be on hand to answer any questions about infection control, Soiled Utility room solutions and our industry leading pulp maceration technology throughout both days.
